KONAWAENA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAMPUS |
My goal is to walk 20 miles per day. From our own survey the route distance is 238 miles. The walk will begin at Konawaena Elementary School and proceed south on Hwy 11, until Hwy 11 and Hwy 19 junction in Hilo. At this point the walk is almost half way complete. The walk will continue on Hwy 19 until the junction with Hwy 190 in Kamuela. At this junction the walk will take Hwy 190, the upper road toward Kona, proceed down Waikoloa Road to Hwy 19, proceed south on Hwy 19 until the junction with Hwy 11 in Honalo. Proceed south on Hwy 11, finish line at Konawaena Elementary School.
